Wireless LAN alternatives that have many advantages over conventional hardwired networks:
Some of the benefits include:
A typical wireless LAN implementation has four (4) steps:
Our wireless site survey consists of an on-site walk-through, which identifies all areas that require wireless coverage. This information is then used to create a report detailing the installation procedures, wireless equipment required, and Access Point locations.
Our network specialists will design a wireless network customized to fit your needs. Based on the site survey, the wireless LAN design is then used in the installation process.
Installation typically takes between 3 days and 2 weeks depending on project size and complexity. Our network professionals securely configure all Access Point and network equipment. Our experienced crew will reliably install cable and accessories as well as network equipment, including access point units, to locations specified in the site survey and design processes.
The last step is Certification. During this process readings will be taken to ensure the highest level of quality and coverage has been met or exceeded. Data will be gathered and compiled into a document to be given for record-keeping purposes to the network administrator. Coverage maps will be included for review. Also training and a guided tour of the newly installed wireless network will be given.
